Colorbolt - Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Colorbolt ("the App", "we", "us") collects, uses, and protects information when you use our mobile game. We built Colorbolt to be fun and fair, and we take your privacy seriously.

1. Information We Collect

Colorbolt is designed to work with minimal data collection. Here is exactly what we collect and why:

Display name	Shown on leaderboards and your in-app profile (optional, editable)
Device information	Basic device type and OS version for app performance and bug fixes
Purchase history	To process in-app purchases (lives packs, unlimited passes) via Google Play Billing
Advertising identifiers	Used by our ad provider to show relevant ads and rewarded video ads

We do not collect: your real name, address, contacts, photos, location, or any personally identifiable information beyond what is listed above, unless you choose to sign in with a third-party account (such as Google), in which case standard account information (name, email) may be used to sync your progress.

2. How We Use Your Information

To save and display your game scores and progress
To show you on leaderboards if you choose to participate
To process purchases of lives, power-ups, or unlimited passes
To display advertisements, including rewarded ads that grant in-game lives
To improve game performance, fix bugs, and balance gameplay

3. Third-Party Services

Colorbolt uses the following third-party services, each governed by their own privacy policies:

Google AdMob — for displaying banner and rewarded video advertisements
Google Play Billing — for processing in-app purchases securely
Google Play Games Services — for optional sign-in and progress sync (if enabled)

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We only share limited data with our service providers (such as Google AdMob and Google Play Billing) as necessary to operate core app features like ads and payments.

5. Children's Privacy

Colorbolt is suitable for general audiences. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can remove it.

6. Data Storage and Security

Game data such as scores and progress are primarily stored locally on your device. Where data is synced to the cloud (such as through Google Play Games Services), it is protected using Google's standard security practices.

7. Your Choices

You can edit or reset your display name at any time in the Profile tab
You can opt out of personalized ads through your device's ad settings (Settings → Privacy → Ads)
You can uninstall the app at any time, which removes locally stored data from your device

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal reasons. We will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page when changes are made.
